This is a working grain farm in Iowa. We are farmers. We love it here.
Surrounded by gorgeous rolling farmland and 360-degree views, we wake up every day to the Iowa beauty that surely inspired artists like Grant Wood.
With breathtaking sunrises and sunsets that can be viewed from all around the property, dark, starry skies and peaceful solitude, we are inspired to share it with others.
We are a true Mom & Pop couple who have been together for 20 years and have five adult children and one grandchild between us.
We have recently built a commercial kitchen on our farm. It’s fully equipped featuring a high temperature commercial dishwasher, high volume mixer and proofing oven.
To complete our vision, we have recently finished two Nordic inspired, purpose-built apartments on the farm as well, both with full kitchens.
Together, we plan to host small-group experience stays so we can feed your senses, fill your cup and show you what we're building here.

Additionally, he spent nearly 30 years on stage, working extensively with local community theater including Cherokee, Le Mars and Sioux City. He has participated in more than a hundred productions.
With regional commercial and acting credits, he is an accomplished MC and public speaker. He is currently interested in Nordic folktales and storytelling.
As a recognized semi-professional photographer in the Siouxland area, he has published several calendars, shown his work in local art shows and community festivals and was invited to exhibit his deep space astrophotography at the Sioux City Arts Center in Sioux City.
An avid contrast therapy enthusiast of many years, Andy learned the benefits of the Vagus nerve reset.
He recently confirmed on a trip to Finland, that the hot/cold sauna circuit he completed at Loyly, in Helsinki, significantly helped improve symptoms he suffers from a chronic condition.
Andy has spent his entire adult life farming on his family's ground. The land isn't just an asset or a means to grow crops. It's a heritage that he feels very deeply.
Pamela grew up in Western Wisconsin and moved to Iowa after getting engaged to Andy, in 2009.
She is Norwegian and Swedish on her father's side and German on her mother's side, but regardless of which side she spent time with growing up, she was always learning something in the kitchen.
She decided to become a caterer when she was 18 and accepted her first paid job for 100 guests right out of high school. Since then, she has completed the lessons in the New Professional Chef once in 1991 and again in 2004. As a self-taught chef and caterer and has created more than 200 original recipes.
Pamela has taken cooking classes across the US and in Italy, South Africa, Finland, Poland and France. She spent a week at Le Cordon Bleu, Paris taking intensive workshops in bread baking, pastries and sauces.
As an accomplished events coordinator she has handled everything from weddings with 300+ guests to co-founding with Andy, a four-day community-wide holiday celebration to regularly planning international trips for groups of six to ten..
Having directed several plays for Cherokee Community Theater and served on the board for three years, Pamela handled most of the receptions and events for the organization, the web and print marketing and promotions for several years after she stepped down.
A few years ago, she began "dabbling" with line drawings and acrylic paintings. She has produced a coloring book filled with pages of images that are reminiscent of her childhood and her life on the farm.
She still "dabbles" with her paintings.
